Getting connected into the Sports Ministry at TBC is a
great way to make friends and grow relationships. It is a language that
crosses an international barrier, and provides a natural means to promote
the building of relationships which in turn, can be used for evangelism,
discipleship and lifelong friendship.
Teammates serve each other, by praying for each other,
setting a godly example in a competitive arena, and being accountable to
one another on and off the field. Our emphasis is placed on Christ
likeness and good sportsmanship, not championships and trophies… although
it is nice when we claim the championships!
